Very expected game in Beograd where 8th rankedMega BG (16-14) was defeated by second ranked Partizan (26-4) 89-82 on Sunday. Vanja Marinkovic (198-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Aleksej Pokusevski (213-2001) chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Partizan's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) with 14 points and 6 assists and forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Mega BG players scored in double figures. Partizan have a solid three-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after Buducnost lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Mega BG keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost.
